U.S. Congressman from Wisconsin, Rep. Paul Ryan, delivered an address on behalf of the Republican Party.
Rep. Ryan, Chairman of the House Budget Committee, focused on the federal budget.
"Last week, leaders in the United States Senate, which is controlled by the President's own party, announced they would not advance a budget for the third year in a row," said Rep. Ryan. "Tomorrow, in fact, will mark three years to the day since the Senate last fulfilled this basic governing responsibility."
He went on to talk about the budget recently passed by the House of Representatives.
