Nominate an Oktoberfest Parade Marshal

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - In light of the recent decision to proceed with the 2012 parades, Oktoberfest officials say they are now in need of your Parade Marshal nomination forms! Parade Marshals are involved in several events that help keep the traditions of the Oktoberfest celebration alive.

An adult of any age or gender may be nominated. Official requirements are available on the Oktoberfest's website (www.oktoberfestusa.com). Completed nomination forms can be dropped off at the Oktoberfest office on the corner of 2nd and La Crosse.  You have until next Friday (5/11) to submit your nomination. The 2012 Parade Marshals will then be announced on Monday, September 17.
