La Crosse, WI (WXOW)-- Thousands of high school and middle school musicians are on campus at UW-L, as the university plays host to the Wisconsin School Music Association State Music Festival.
More than 32,000 students are participating. Acts range from piano players to singing trios to group performances. And in order to qualify for today's festival, students had to win a 'starred rating' at a smaller district festival.
