12-year-old girl forced to wear diaper for bad grades

FRIDLEY, Minn. (WKOW) -- A mother and her boyfriend shaved the head of her 12-year-old daughter and forced her to run up and down the street in a diaper.

They did this because the young girl was not earning good grades.

About 50 people gathered in Fridley, Minnesota to watch the girl. The girl was hysterically crying when a police officer approached her.

The couple has been arrested. Both the mother and her boyfriend were laughing on the way to the jail. They questioned why police got involved in the incident.

The girl and three younger children have been placed in foster care.
