Carroll: Wilson will compete for starting job at QB

SEATTLE (WKOW) -- Former Badgers quarterback Russell Wilson has only been with the Seahawks for three days, but apparently that's long enough to make a good impression.

Wilson was on the field for all 500 snaps of Seattle's three-day rookie camp and he threw about 400 passes, most of which were right on the money.

After wrapping up Sunday's practice, head coach Pete Carroll said there is "no question" Wilson will compete for the starting job.

But Wisconsin fans, before you hop onto the Russell Wilson bandwagon, you may want to remember who he's competing with for that starting job.

Former Packers backup Matt Flynn just signed a three-year deal with the Seahawks in the offseason.

Tarvaris Jackson is also in the mix to compete in this three-horse race under center.
