MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A Wisconsin woman already banned for life from Walmart stores has been arrested for allegedly shoplifting at a Madison Walmart.
Police say the 23-year-old Madison woman had enlisted three young girls -- ages 12, 13 and 14 -- to steal alcohol and other items from the store.
A police spokesman says store employees said the group brought two large bags with them and stole two other bags while in Walmart.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports the four allegedly stole $180 worth of vodka, tequila, clothing and other items and put the merchandise in the bags. Store security stopped them before they could leave Monday night.
The woman reportedly gave a false name to police. Her true identity was revealed when she was booked at the Dane County Jail.
