Wisconsin gets high ranking for bicycling efforts

Wisconsin (WXOW) - When it comes to being bike friendly, Wisconsin is on the right path.

The League of American Bicyclists recently ranked Wisconsin as sixth in the nation for being bike friendly.  The state scored high for its efforts in the areas of policies and programs and education and encouragement.  One area the state could improve is funding, Wisconsin ranks very low when it comes to the amount of money spent on bicyclists and pedestrians.
