Viroqua, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A Hillsboro man is back in court on new charges of attempted sexual assault of a child.
Isaac Yoder was arrested in February after a 14-year-old girl told investigators Yoder tried to assault her in her bedroom. Her screams brought other family members to her rescue.
Yoder was already on probation for a previous sexual assault conviction. He served three years in prison from a 2008 sexual assault conviction. When he was arrested, he was serving nine years of extended supervision.
During Tuesday's appearance, Yoder was found competent to stand trial. He's scheduled to return for a preliminary hearing on June 6th.
