
LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - You will soon hear live music from the bandshell in Riverside Park.
Starting June 14, various bands will perform on the stage Thursdays from 11:30 to 1:30.
The concerts are free.
There are 12 planned so far.
The event, named "Noon Tunes," is a community service project of the La Crosse Valley View Rotary Club to support the rehabilitation of the Riverside band shell, and to promote Downtown La Crosse.
The first "Noon Tunes" event is June 14.
Grammy award-winner Bill Miller is scheduled to perform.
