Walker campaigns as voters head to the polls

Sixteen months of political unrest culminates today with the historic recall election of Governor Scott Walker spurred by last year's controversial budget repair bill.

Several recent polls show Walker leading Barrett by a narrow margin but that hasn't slowed done the Governor's efforts to reach voters. In the past few days he has criss-crossed the state, defending the changes he made to balance the budget and boost job growth in Wisconsin.

Walker plans to continue to campaign today, with a stop scheduled in Wausau around noon. He'll end the night in Waukesha where his campaign headquarters will be located inside the Waukesha County Expo Center.

The fates of Governor Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett are in the hands of voters and after the polls close at 8:00 p.m. we'll know where Wisconsin voters stand.
