River Falls (WQOW)- Homicide charges are filed for a crash that killed a western Wisconsin high school student.
Sara Goldbach, 14, of River Falls, died late last month. She was a passenger in a pickup truck that left a town road and rolled.
Charges of homicide by negligent driving were filed against Tanner Brown, 17, on Wednesday. Investigators say he changed his story several times about how fast he was going.
A passenger told detectives she thought Brown was driving in the middle of the road on a sharp curve when he swerved to miss an oncoming van and lost control of his truck.
Brown will be in court in July.
