Lake Pepin added to infested waters list

LAKE CITY, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources updated its list of waters infested with invasive species.

Lake Pepin in Lake City has been added to bodies of water infested with Zebra mussels and Eurasian watermilfoil.

The DNR wants to remind boaters to clean all aquatic plants from equipment before leaving the water access.

Drain water from bilges, live wells, and bait containers.

And dry boats and equipments for five days or spray with high pressure and hot water before going to another body of water.
