The Fond Du Lac County district attorney says he wants to charge a 16-year-old Camblesport teen as an adult, in the shooting of a seven-year-old with an arrow.
A judge will make the final decision on whether to pursue adult or juvenile charges.
The 16-year-old boy faces charges of reckless injury and obstruction.
Authorities say he told police he was shooting at a squirrel.
The young victim, Aryanna Schneeburg, was shot from about 80 yards away in late May, according to investigators. She is still recovering at home.
