Loggers win team record 11th straight

Battle Creek, MICHIGAN (WXOW)   Jake Stassi held the Battle Creek Bombers (9-13) scoreless for six innings to boost the La Crosse Loggers (17-5) to a 8-3 victory.

Stassi allowed three hits, two walks and struck out four.  

Brenden Farney racked up two RBIs on four hits for the La Crosse Loggers. He singled in the second, fourth, and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.  

Brian Valente ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed three runs.

The Loggers are at Wisconsin Rapids Thursday night.
