WAUSAU (WXOW) -- Authorities are holding two male suspects who allegedly killed a Wausau man with a baseball bat.
Police found 49-year-old Kerby Kniess dead in a garage where he had been staying in Wausau Tuesday. Authorities say Kniess died from a skull fracture and head injuries.
Police arrested a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old man. Authorities say they believe Kniess knew the two suspects.
Wausau Deputy Police Chief Bryan Hilts tells our sister station WAOW-TV police also recovered three baseball bats. Hilts says the motive may have been robbery.
The two suspects are expected to appear in Marathon County court Thursday.
