Coon Valley man dies in moped crash

Coon Valley, WI (WXOW) - A Coon Valley man has died after he sideswiped a semi-truck with his moped. 

The accident happened around 4:30pm Saturday afternoon, on Central Avenue in the Village of Coon Valley.

Officials say 63-old Bobby Livangood was riding his moped when he crossed the center line and hit the side of a semi.

The semi driver was unharmed.

Livangood suffered severe injuries in the crash and was transported to a local hospital.

He passed away Sunday.

Livangood was not wearing a helmet.
