SANFORD, FL (WKOW) -- Newly released tapes show Florida investigators poking holes in George Zimmerman's story of how he came to shoot and kill unarmed teen Trayvon Martin.
The interrogation tape, taken just three days after the shooting, shows the lead homicide investigator pushing Zimmerman about what he remembers from the minutes before the shooting.
The day after the taping, Zimmerman passed a deception test; but in the taped interrogation, the police confront him about inconsistencies in his story.
Just last week, Zimmerman's attorneys released their own video showing their client walking police through the crime scene the day after the shooting. In that video, we saw Zimmerman explaining how he feared for his life after the unarmed Martin saw his gun.
Zimmerman will be back in court on Friday for a bond hearing.
