La Crosse Man Falls From Parking Ramp to His Death

La Crosse, WI (WXOW) - UPDATE:  The La Crosse Police Department is currently investigating the death of a 53 year old La Crosse man 

Emergency personnel responded to 200 South 3rd street Wednesday night around 10 o'clock for the report of a man that fell from the top level of the ramp. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police says their preliminary investigation indicates this to be a possible suicide.

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW)-- Authorities said a 53 year old La Crosse man fell to his death from the top of a parking ramp downtown La Crosse Wednesday night.

Authorities said it happened at about 10:00 p.m. at the ramp on the corner of Third and Jay streets.

Police said the man fell four stories to the ground and they do not believe the death is suspicious.

The man died at the scene.

La Crosse Police say they will release more information on Thursday.
