La Crescent, MN (WXOW) - A rare sighting Thursday morning from News 19 Photographer Nick Bjerke.
While driving to work, on Tschumper Road, he drove up on a Timber Rattlesnake.
The Timber Rattler is one of two poisonous snakes found in Minnesota. They are rare in our area.
While the poison is dangerous, Biologist say Timber Rattlesnakes are one of the most docile breeds of snakes and they won't bother you unless you bother them.
This snake was on Tschumper Road, about three miles outside of La Crescent.
Nick stayed a safe distance away as he shot this video. Click on the video tab to check it out.
