Feehan supports Walker's wait and see proposal

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - One local Republican agrees with Governor Walker's decision to wait to see if the GOP wins in November before beginning to implement President Obama's health care plan.

State Senate Candidate Bill Feehan in supporting Governor Walker's idea, says the decision on Thursday makes the November election even more important. "The problem with the current program is it gives employers a huge incentive to put their people into the government plan and then that plan is backstopped by tax payers," says Feehan. "So there's really no mechanisms in place to insure we're having cost control."

Feehan is running against Senator Jennifer Shilling for the 32nd District Senate Seat.
