Muddy Day at Children's Museum

Posted:

La Crosse, WI (WXOW)-- 'Get your mud on' was the theme at the children's museum today.

Kids got to paint with rainbow-colored mud and make caterpillars. The idea was to promote the annual Big Muddy Run.

The run is October 6 and raises money for a new exhibit at the Children's Museum. Anyone seven-or older can race through the wet and muddy course.

"The mud run is a wonderful event that happens every year, this is our third year," said Christina Knudsen. "It's a great fundraiser for the Children's Museum. It's held in Myrick park and it's for families and individuals, and there's teams this year."

You can sign-up for the run at BigMuddyRun.org.
