Man found dead in Winona

Winona, MN (WXOW) - Winona Police Officers say a man was found dead around 8:15 Tuesday morning near the intersection of Hwy 61 and Hwy 43.

Police say they responded to that area after receiving a dispatch call, that is when they noticed the deceased man in a grassy area.

Officers say the initial investigation and the scene did not provide anything that would indicate suspicious circumstances or foul play.

An autopsy is being conducted. 

The investigating in ongoing.

The man's name hasn't been released yet.
