Winona Health offers heat relief

WINONA, Minnesota (WXOW) -- With heat indexes expected to rise to dangerous levels July 4 through 6, Winona Health is welcoming community members who may need to take a break from the heat.

Although clinic services are closed for the July 4 holiday, the hospital will be open for visitors until 8:30 pm.  People seeking relief from the heat are invited to stop at the switchboard at the main hospital entrance for instructions to the available waiting areas which includes the hospital cafeteria. 
 
July 5 and 6, visitors are also invited to come in the south clinic entrance and use the first or second floor waiting areas for heat relief.
 
Winona Health has wireless internet access.
