FOUNTAIN CITY, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Black bear sightings are becoming more commonplace, but its still interesting to see one in the wild. Especially when it wanders by the place where you work.
Employees at Graphic Image in Fountain City took these photos Tuesday of a black bear after it swam across the Mississippi River and came ashore.
According to Carrie Stanislawski who sent the photos to our station in Rochester, the bear wandered along the railroad tracks then crossed State Highway 35.
