WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, West Virginia (WXOW) - The Greenbrier Classic is a family affair for the Strickers. Steve's wife, Nicki, is caddying for him this week.

It's been a while, but this is nothing new. Nicki caddied for her husband from the time he started on the tour in 1994 up until 1998 when they had their first child.

Nicki said Steve does most of the work, as far as reading the greens, but Steve said it's good to have her there for moral support.

"It's nice to get her back out here," he said. "We always talk about doing it once or twice a year, and we just thought this would be a good fit."

Nicki added, "I obviously enjoyed doing it. I missed it and got an opportunity to do it. [We] brought our family. Everyone's here, so we're having a good time with it."

Stricker shot a three-under-par round of 67 on Friday to improve to -4 for the tournament.
