Woman hits gas instead of brakes; Damages garage-w/Slideshow

WEST SALEM, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A visit to a West Salem home ends up with a damaged SUV and garage.

The incident happened around 530pm Sunday at a home at 111 Rosewood Lane in West Salem.

According to Chief Charles Ashbeck, the mother of the renter of the home came for a visit.  As she pulled into the driveway, she hit the gas instead of the brakes and hit the edge of the garage.

She was not injured, but the crash did cause serious damage to the garage according to Chief Ashbeck.

The police investigation determined there was no alcohol or a medical condition involved in what happened.
