Wisconsin Named Best Vacation State

MADISON, Wisconsin (WKOW) - Wisconsin has been named the Best Vacation State by AAA  members around the Midwest. 

The auto club's Midwest Traveler Magazine did a survey of its more than half-million readers and they named Wisconsin the number one place to take a vacation. 

The magazine is circulated in Missouri, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana and Eastern Kansas.

The survey results are published in the July/August issue.
