Trempealeau Co. Sheriff's office looking for suspect in shooting

Township of Gale, WI (WXOW) - The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office is looking for a Tomah man who may have been involved in a shooting at a home in the Township of Gale this past weekend.

The incident happened around 4 am Sunday, on Oak Ridge Drive.

According to the victims, several people entered their trailer house armed and fired shots.

The victims say they were able to escape as the suspects were entering.

Officers say the suspects were targeting one of the people in the home, but wouldn't say why that person was targeted.

The Sheriff's Department later arrested 3 people in the incident. They include 22-year-old Armando Daniel Mercado Esparza from Genoa, 22-year-old Ruben Garcia Palma from Arcadia and 34-year-old Gina Marie Garcia from Arcadia. They were arrested on a charge of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.

Trempealeau County investigators are still looking for a fourth person connected to the shooting, 28-year-old Julio Jonathan Ramirez Espinosa of Tomah.
