Fourth suspect in Trempealeau Co. shooting arrested

WHITEHALL, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A man wanted for questioning in a weekend shooting in Trempealeau County is now in custody.

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department announced that with the help of Arcadia and Independence Police and the Wisconsin State Patrol, Julio Jonathan Ramirez Espinosa.

Espinosa, along with three others, were arrested in connection with the shooting at a trailer home in the Town of Gale Sunday morning.

The Sheriff's Department says the occupants of the trailer said that several people came into the trailer looking for one of the people inside.

Three people ran from the trailer when the people who entered began shooting.

No one was injured.

The case remains under investigation.
