
WINONA, Minnesota (WXOW) -- Winona-based Fastenal Company says new store openings helped lead to a rise in second quarter earnings.
The company's net income went up 19.3 percent to $112.3 million. Fastenal opened 53 new stores across the country during the first six months of the year.
Fastenal sells different types of industrial and construction supplies. It has stores and facilities around the globe.
