RIVER FALLS (WKOW) -- Memorials have been created at the elementary school attended by two of the three young sisters found murdered in their home.
The bodies of 11-year-old Amara, 8-year-old Sophie and 5-year-old Cecilia Schaffhausen were discovered on Tuesday.
Their father is charged with their murders.
At Greenwood Elementary, three white balloons are tied to equipment on the playground and the school's front hallway is draped with pictures and messages to the girls.
The school has offered counseling the past two days to its students and their families.
School officials say the youngest, 5-year-old Cecilia, was weeks away from beginning kindergarten at the school.
