Jim Leonhard talks about his future

TONY, Wisconsin (WXOW) - NFL camps get underway in just under two weeks. While players enjoy one of their last weekends before work begins, Wisconsin native, and seven year NFL pro, Jim Leonhard, still does not know where he will be playing.

Leonhard was in a camp on Saturday--his annual youth football camp. More than 100 high schoolers hit the field to learn from Leonhard, fellow former-badger Chris Maragos, and area coaches.

Leohnard said he expects to be at an NFL training camp, but has to let the process play out.

"Hopefully I'll know in the next couple of weeks I'll know where I'm going," said Leonhard. "[I've] still got a lot of options out there and we'll see. I'm excited. I know I'll be playing football somewhere it's just a matter of time, and I'll be as patient as I can."

Leonhard most recently played for the New York Jets. He was sidelined for the end of last season with a knee-injury.
