Man Facing 8th OWI After Motorcycle Crash

TOWN OF FARMINGTON, Wisconsin (WXOW) – A 51-year old man is facing his eighth OWI after crashing a motorcycle Sunday in the Town of Farmington.

According to the La Crosse County Sheriff's Department, David Carlson, 51, and a 16-year old female passenger were injured when the former crashed his bike at 3 a.m.

Neither was wearing a helmet.

Both Carlson and the passenger were taken to the hospital, but their injuries were deemed non-life threatening.

As of Sunday afternoon, one of the two had been released but police could not specify which one.

They also could not provide any details as to how the crash occurred.

In addition to facing an OWI charge, Carlson was also cited for multiple traffic violations.
