Wausau WISCONSIN (WXOW) The La Crosse Loggers blew a two-run 9th inning lead and dropped a 5-4 decision to the Woodchucks in Wausau Sunday.
It was the Loggers 3rd loss in a row, leading to a three-game sweep by Wisconsin.
Richard Prigatano led the Loggers hitting attack with a home run and three runs batted.
But 2 errors and a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the 9th sent the Loggers back home with a heart-breaking loss.
La Crosse is now 4-6 in the second half.
They begin a two-game series at home Monday against Lakeshore.
