Memorial for 3 River Falls Girls

RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A memorial service is planned for the three young girls killed in River Falls last week.

Their father, Aaron Schaffhausen, has been charged with three counts of murder. The bodies of 11-year-old Amara, 8-year-old Sophie, and 5-year-old Cecelia were found slain in their River Falls home.

The memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday evening at Kilkarney Hills Golf Club at 7pm.  There is also a visitation before the service.

A Hudson man says when he heard about what happened, he felt compelled to do something to help so he started raising money for the family. He raised $30,000 in donations that will pay for most, if not all of the memorial service.
