
MADISON (WKOW) -- Two men were rushed to the University of Wisconsin Hospital after a house explosion in Madison early Monday morning.
Officials say the call came in about 4:45 a.m. for the explosion on the 400 block of South Midvale Boulevard.
Four people were inside the house at the time. The two adults sent to the hospital were the children of the homeowners.
Five ambulances responded to the scene.
The explosion caused several small fires inside the house. Most of the home is off its foundation.
Madison Fire Department investigators are still looking into the cause of the explosion.
Madison Gas and Electric shut down the gas and electric to the house.
