Accident at Intersection of Hwy 16 and Hwy 157

La Crosse, Wisconsin (WXOW) - An accident involving two vehicles slowed traffic at the intersection of Highways 16 and 157 this afternoon around 2:00pm.

The La Crosse Police Department and Fire Department responded.

The crash resulted in injuries to three individuals. One of the people involved was extricated from a vehicle with the Jaws of Life. Two were transported to the hospital, treated and released. The third had only minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.

The wreckage was cleaned up before 3:00pm and traffic back to normal.
