Waterloo Community Schools will offer counseling starting Monday to help parents and students cope after the disappearance of two Cedar Valley girls.
Cousins Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook have been missing since Friday afternoon. Their bikes were found near Meyers Lake in Evansdale, launching a massive volunteer search over the weekend. Law enforcement have continued the search through the week.
Counselors will be available Monday morning at Kingsley Elementary School and at Poyner Elementary School. The girls attend these two schools.
The Waterloo Community School District also has information for parents available on its website.
