A second lawsuit is filed in a fatal hill jumping case

Eau Claire (WQOW) - Another lawsuit is filed in connection with the hill jumping crash that killed three teens.

The mother of Marco Perez filed a wrongful death lawsuit this week against Felicia Bertrang, her parents, and their insurance company.  Perez was one of three teens killed when a car driven by Austin Gable lost control and rolled. He was trying to get the car airborne on a hilly road near Eau Claire.  The suit claims Bertrang was negligent in letting him drive because he was only 14.  This is the second wrongful death lawsuit filed in connection with the crash.
