LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- The La Crosse City Council will hold an informal meeting Thursday, August 2, to interview three potential replacements for former council member Jim Bloedorn.
Bloedorn, who resigned earlier this month, represented La Crosse's Seventh District -- which includes much of the city south of La Crosse Street and the area around Pettibone Park.
The three applicants for the seat who will be interviewed are:
James T. Cherf, of 511 Main St., La Crosse
Amesia Ngialah Xiong, of 315 3rd St. South, La Crosse
Jason LaCourse, of 116 5th Ave. North, La Crosse.
The election of the new, seventh district council member will be held during the Common Council meeting on Thursday, August 9 at 7:30 pm.
