La Crosse, WI (WXOW) - A La Crosse woman will go to prison for providing the drugs that led to the overdose death of a man last August.
A judge sentenced 38-year-old Christina Lorenz Wednesday to 4-years in prison and 9-years of probation.
Lorenz pleaded guilty in April to providing the drugs to Robert Ducharme.
An autopsy confirmed Ducharme died from a drug overdose.
Wednesday in court, Lorenz apologized for her actions.
Lorenz told the judge she was not in the right mind the day of the crime and she is sorry for all the harm she caused to Ducharme's family.
Three others are charged in connection with the death.
Robert Moss and Patrick Valiequette were charged and sentenced in this case early this year.
Cain Moss is also charged in the case.
He's expected in court next week for a motion hearing.
