Norwalk teen injured in pickup crash

SPARTA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A Norwalk teen is injured when he loses control of his pickup truck early Thursday morning.

A Monroe County Sheriff's Department release says the pickup driven by 18-year-old Cole C. Roy was headed south on Highway 71 in the Town of Wells around 627am.

The truck left the west side of the road, hit a sign, then crossed back over the highway.  The truck then hit a guardrail and went over an embankment.  As it did, the truck rolled over at least once before coming to rest on its wheels.

Roy was taken to MCHS in Sparta and later transferred to La Crosse with non-life threatening injuries.
