La Crosse, WI (WXOW) - Mayo Clinic Health System announced its new Chief Administrative Officer Thursday, a position that needed filling after former C.A.O. Ron Paczkowski announced his retirement earlier this year.
Joseph Kruse joined the organization in 1984 and formerly served as Vice President with administrative responsibility for medical, surgical, and hospital based clinical services.
Kruse has helped with major advancements in cancer care, cardiology, and surgical specialties to name a few.
Kruse added that he hopes to help the practice grow, make care available to more patients, and focus on improving the quality and cost of care that Mayo Clinic Health System provides.
"I will be serving as Dr. Johnson's administrative partner in leading the organization in western Wisconsin and northeastern Iowa. I will also will have a significant role in Rochester representing our organization to Mayo Clinic in the Midwest," said Kruse.
