La Crosse, WI (WXOW) - Today, when you buy a blizzard at any participating Dairy Queen, the store will donate a dollar to our Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Dairy Queen has donated $91 Million since 1984, which has benefited 170 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals across North America.

If you choose to donate an extra dollar while at Dairy Queen, you will receive a coupon for one dollar off a royal shake and one dollar off of grill burger.

"Locally we've been doing it for the last four years working with the Children's Miracle Network program and we've raised a little over $12,000 dollars. We continue to strive to raise more. It's a great way to give back. The money stays local, it helps out local families and that's what it's all about, helping others," said Onalaska, WI Dairy Queen Manager Tom Koster.

For the first time ever, "like" Dairy Queen on facebook and R.S.V.P. to Miracle Treat Day, and the company will donate another dollar! (Up to $50,000 dollars).
