UPDATE: Wanted man accused of sexual assault in custody

Trempealeau County (WXOW) - A wanted man is now in custody in Trempealeau County.

Patrick Bautch was wanted by the Independence Police Department.  He's accused of sexually assaulting a child.  The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department took him into custody without incident on Monday.

Independence, WI (WXOW) - The Independence Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man accused of sexual assault.

Police are looking for 26-year-old Patrick Bautch.

The Trempealeau County District Attorney's Office has issued an arrest warrant for Bautch for two counts of first degree sexual assault of a child and one count of attempted first degree sexual assault of a child.

Bautch is a white male, 5'6" tall and weighs 150 pounds.  He has a tattoo on his neck that says "Patrick".

Police say Bautch maybe in the Neillsville or Wausau area.
