La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  Former Aquinas and Iowa State star Scott Christopherson is awaiting his next move in his pro basketball career.

And it could be overseas.

Christopherson is back home this week serving as a coach at the Coach Z Hoops Camp at the La Crosse Center.

He spent a couple of weeks with the Portland Trail Blazers playing in a couple of their summer league games earlier this month.

It was just a small slice of NBA life, but a learning experience nonetheless.

"It's humbling to be a part of because you realize just how good those guys are. I think it gives you a lot of confidence too. You practice with those guys for a week and play in a few games and you realize those guys are incredibly talented but you realize you can play with them. It was a lot of fun," Christopherson said.

Christopherson said he hopes to land a pro gig somewhere, likely overseas, within a couple of weeks.
