WAUSAU, Wisconsin (WAOW) - A La Crosse man has been charged with homicide in connection with a deadly crash in Marathon County.
Tyler Deal, 21, faces three felony counts including homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle. This stems from a crash February 26, 2012, in the Town of Spencer. Police say Deal was drunk when his car ran off the road and hit a power pole, killing his female passenger.
Deal also faces two misdemeanor charges of drug possession.
At a hearing Tuesday in Marathon County, a judge set a $20,000 signature bond. Deal's next court date is scheduled for August 29.
