MADISON (WKOW) - The Badger football team kicked off camp Monday afternoon at Camp Randall Stadium.  It was the first chance to see incoming junior quarterback Danny O'Brien with his new teammates. O'Brien transferred to Wisconsin from the University of Maryland.  

Much of the focus was about the player who was not taking part in camp. Star running back Montee Ball is sitting out of camp for now after suffering a concussion in an attack last Wednesday in Madison.  Coach Bielema says Ball will miss the first week of camp and will be reevaluated next week. For now Ball will only participate in conditioning drills, but his coach hopes to have him back full go by the end of August, when the team prepares for its September 1st season opener against Northern Iowa.
