Local Church Hosts Community Festival

La Crescent, MN (WXOW)-- The Church of The Crucifixion in La Crescent held the 33rd annual Summer Fun Fest. The fest began Friday and wrapped up Sunday afternoon.

The fest was open to the public, not just members of the church. There were games for kids and live music for adults.

The church's priest says it's a great way to bring our community together.

"There is a number of people from the community that come down and spend an hour here and there, and just visit with others," said Father Greg Havel. "And that's the nice thing about it, it allows us to have that time."
