WEST SALEM, Wisconsin (WXOW) - For many children, spending time outdoors with family is not a reality.
But a program in West Salem helps give those children that experience and perhaps help change their lives.
Ray Howell created the Kicking Bear program because he was one of those people whose life was changed by a trip to the outdoors.
He now shares and helps create those experiences that give children a chance to perhaps change their lives for the better.
News 19's Lindsey Hayes spent time with Howell and the Kicking Bear program for this edition of Outdoors Unlimited.
